Taylor Childs, Veterinary Technician
Taylor moved to Charlotte, NC with her husband in February 2010 from St. Louis,
Missouri. She has a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences from the University of
Missouri. She worked at the Humane Society of Missouri for two years before moving.
She has a dog named Cody, and two snakes, Julian and Isis.

Alex Benedict, Veterinary Technician
Born and raised in Southern Florida, Alex moved to South Carolina. in 2007. She began
volunteering and working in animal shelters in 2006. She has a lab mix dog named
Zachary and a boxer mix dog named Molly. In her free time she enjoys riding her dirtbike,
hiking and camping.

| Chelsey Carlson, Veterinary Technician Chelsey was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She has worked in the veterinary field for over eight years, the past six specializing in veterinary technology. Chelsey and her husband, Rick live in the Lake Wylie area with their dog, Tank and their cat, Cha Cha. In her free time she fishes, camps, and has a love for arts and crafts. |
| Wendy Duquette, Veterinary Technician Wendy is a graduate of Vermont Technical College and holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences. She has been a Veterinary Technician for 16 years. She moved to North Carolina recently from Auburn, MA. She has a four-year old daughter and is expecting her second daughter in December 2008. She enjoys painting with watercolors and spending time with her four cats (Bandit, Swiper, Roo & Juicy) and two dogs (Nacho & Queso). |
Laurie Moulin, Veterinary Technician
Laurie is from Fort Wayne Indiana. While living in Indiana, she worked for an Equine and
Small Animal practice for over 18 years. She is a graduate from the University of St.
Francis - with a degree in Physical Therapy. In 2007 Laurie moved to the Fort Mill area
with her family. She has a Golden Retriever named "Margo" and a Schnoodle named
"Putter" and 2 cats, "Norma-Jean" & "Gnatalie".

| Selena Riffe, Veterinary Technician Selena is a native Carolinian. Born and Raised in Harrisburg, NC. She enjoys music, reading and going to the beach. She started working in animal care in 1998 as a Kennel Assistant. She enjoys people and loves animals so it was a great match. Her " heart" is a red pit bull named "Red Sonya". In her free time she writes short stories for her friends to read and dreams of having a best seller one day. |
